My name is Valentina Schilling and I am the founder of Forthright Case Management as of 2022. I am born and raised in Reno, NV where I discovered my calling in healthcare. I started my career as a nurse at the local Level II trauma center, where I was able to gain a diverse hospital background in nursing including ICU, Emergency Department, Neurology, and General Surgery. I spent the last 5 years, in the hospital, in the Emergency Department where I specialized in emergency medicine including trauma and orthopedics. I also gained outpatient experience in Pre-Op, PACU, and a non-profit nurse health line during my transitionary period into case management.
I branched out into Case Management in 2020 where I found my passion as a Nurse Case Manager for Workman’s Compensation. I knew immediately after embarking on this new adventure that this is where I was meant to be. I had a vision of standards that I wanted to set forth in order to make a true difference; and I knew the best way to achieve this was to found my own company in order to implement the ideologies that would provide these unrivaled outcomes through Nurse Case Management.
